Are Jensen speakers still made?
Jensen® ceased production of their loudspeakers in the late 1960s. In the late 1990s, under a licensing agreement, SICA Altoparlanti, an Italian speaker manufacturer, commenced production of the legendary Jensen® speakers.
Are Jensen good speakers?
Sounds very good in both. I currently own all of the Jensen Alnico Speakers (P12R in a Vox AC15, P12Q in an extension cabinet and a P12N in a Fender Blues Deluxe) and they all are quality speakers. These speakers sound a lot better than your average ceramic by far. Detailed sound response.

Is 50 watts loud enough?
So 50 watts, per channel, for movies, is probably enough for a lot of people. It’s better to have a bit less SPL, with a cleaner sound, IMO, than trying to see how loud your system can play.

I am extremely happy with the Jensen Elite-303 In Wall Speakers, also the Jensen EH-4 In Ceiling Speakers for a refresh of my home theatre speakers setup. The Elite-303 are easy to install with good instructions and appropriate templates. The speakers appear robust and very well made and sound excellent.

The Jensen C12N speaker is still being used in the limited edition Tweed Fender Blues Juniors. I say “limited edition” in jest, as these models are clearly not a limited run. The Jensen C12N reissue is still being made in Italy and they really capture the classic American sound.
