Your DVR / NVR will obtain a new IP address so that it is communicating with the network. Once you have restarted your system, remote connect to the DVR / NVR. If you were using port forwarding rules with you DVR / NVR system, it will also need to be updated. The rules assigned to the old router are not configured on the new router.
