Can a Marantz AV receiver work with a Denon TV?

Both Denon and Marantz are releasing 8K AV Receivers and I should be able to re-purchase either one of these devices to work with my 8K home Theater system. Just 2 days ago I updated the firmware of my TV via USB thumb drive, since my TV was not picking up the new firmware. The software was installed without problem and was upgraded to 1361.0.

Home theater system with a Samsung 900R series 8K 82 inch TV, with Denon AVR-X6400H Receiver with a Fios cable box and Apple 4K TV for streaming. Everything works great. I decided to upgrade the Denon receiver with the new Denon AVR-X6700H 8K system. Setup was perfect, after about and hour of down time, then restart.

How to connect a Samsung 8K to a Denon receiver?

Fios cable box, Apple 4K TV, and Oppo BluRay are connected the the input HDMI connections on the Denon receiver. The Samsung 8K tv is connected to the main output on the receiver with a cable to input port 4 which is the the 8K connection. All cables are new Belkin Ultra High Speed HDMI cables rated at 48 gs.

When do the Denon avrx3500h models get replaced?

It depends which model, but most models are replaced annually apart from their flagship model which is replaced every 2 years. The AVRX3500H will be replaced this year. I’d expect it to be announced sometime within the next 2 months?

Are there any new Yamaha AV receivers coming out?

It is very doubtful that you’ll see any new AV receiver including HDMI version 2.1 this year. Yamaha have already indicated that they will not be introducing a new flagship model this year and are waiting at least another year before they replace their top model so that they can then include HDMI version 2.1.
