Hello, To take the deck box apart, locate the tabs where it locked in, use a hair dryer to heat the tab up for 3 to 5 minutes on high, using a standard screwdriver you will want to push the tab in and up. The is the easiest way to take them a part. We have customer service available for technical support if needed.
