Do receivers have a fuse?

Some receivers have a screw-in fuse in the back of the unit that can be removed and inspected easily, while others may have one or more fuses inside the case–you may have to unplug the unit, remove the case and root around inside to see. If you find a fuse that looks burned out, it probably is.

Why does my Denon AV receiver keep shutting off?

I disconnected all the speakers and peripherals, even the subwoofer, but it still keeps shutting off. Sometimes it works perfectly, all audio channels crisp and present, for a week or more at a time before it shuts off. Sometimes it shuts off within a couple minutes over and over for days on end every time I try.

Why does my Denon 2805 receiver keep shutting off?

I have a Denon 2805 receiver, my front speakers are Mythos Ones, back speakers are Mythos Twos, and surrounds are definitive technology ceiling speakers. Anytime I turn up my volume anything above slightly normal, the receiver starts to beep then shut off. This happens every time no matter how long the receiver has been turned on.

How can I get my Denon AVR to work?

Trying to do it from the panel is nothing but more torture, the trick to getting the menu on screen if you are not getting it there, is to use a plain video source, HDMI will not allow the menu on screen, and you have to have it on screen, it is just too difficult to try and understand it on screen, let alone from the main unit’s small panel.
