Do you need to change battery on Visonic PowerMax?

Hi thanks for that. It needed the Siren battery changing (low siren battery message) once that was done The other messages went too. Can anyone help me?

If you do not wish to eliminate the trouble immediately and the beeps are bothersome, press the DISARM ( ) button on your key-ring transmitter, or press on the keypad and then enter your access code (1 1 1 1by default). This will silence the buzzer for 4 hours, after which the trouble beeps will resume sounding.

I had a visonic Powermax complete wireless alarm system fitted to my house 8 months ago by a recommended and supposedly ‘professional’ installer. The system worked fine for 6 months then the external alarm box stopped working.
