Does LG C9 have HDMI eARC?

As an FYI…the LG OLED C9 Series does support eARC. However, the HDMI port on the C9 series is only labeled as ARC which at first glance suggests eARC is not supported.

The OLED reports no signal, although the DVR and AVR all indicate a signal is transmitted. Usually, that occurs when I use the Harmony to switch from the OPPO to DVR. I’ve found that using the Harmony to turn off all the components and then selecting the “activity” I wanted avoided the problem, usually.

I use an Xbox One X as my main media center, including watching 4k Blurays. I am also using the Samsung HW-Q90R soundbar, which supports eARC, Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X.

Is the LG C9 DTS X EARC pass-through?

Yes, i have the C9 set to Pass-through. I’v tried both pass-through and auto, both allow Dolby ATMOS to pass-through but not DTS:X. I have noticed that there is a specific setting on the TV in the sound settings that toggles Dolby ATMOS on and off, and when you choose eARC Pass-through it become automatically selected to on.
