How do I connect my Yas 108 to my TV?

Why is my Yamaha sound bar not connecting?
For the subwoofer wireless pairing, it just won’t happen no matter what. I’ve tried the standard manual procedure and I’ve also tried resetting the soundbar to no avail. The subwoofer’s red standby light keeps blinking and no connection can be made. I’m thinking it might be a faulty unit at this point. What are the devices connected to it?
