If you’re using an analog connection, make sure the TV volume is turned up. If the TV’s analog audio output is set to “variable” and you’re getting no sound from the soundbar, try turning the TV’s volume up. If the TV is turned down all the way, you’ll hear no sound even if the soundbar is set to full volume.

I purchased this soundbar that includes subwoofer and wired rear speakers. I simply used “speaker wire to RCA” adaptors to plug in my existingin-ceilingg speakers to the sub instead of the included surround speakers. The results are nothing short of amazing.

UPDATE: The sub was too close to my router, I moved it to near my couch, about eight feet from the sound bar and router, have had zero problems. Turns out the signal from the router interferes with the signal between the sound bar and sub. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
What should I do if my sound bar is not working?
Try and keep the cable clear of other connectors, especially power, in the tangle of wires behind your TV. Simply moving the 3.5mm cable can sometimes solve this issue. If this doesn’t solve the problem, make sure your TV volume is turned all the way up so you can adjust the sound bar’s volume directly.
Do you need a plug for a wireless sound bar?
If your sound bar is advertised as having a ‘wireless’ subwoofer, you still need to connect the woofer to a plug socket. If your subwoofer is ‘passive’, this means it needs to be connected directly to the sound bar using a cable.
How does a wireless subwoofer work on a sound bar?
Wireless subwoofers work similar to the wired subwoofers, but the only different thing is the method of audio signals transmitting. When you use the wired subwoofers, the connection cable will be responsible for sending the data and add the amplifier via cable and attach with the soundbar.
