How can I connect my sound bar to my TV?

Completely unplug the TV, Soundbar and Subwoofer and leave them stood in the middle of the room under protective cloths for a week whilst you redecorate. Plugged it all back together, selected TV on the Soundbar and suddenly both the TV and Soundbar connect by Bluetooth without issue. Firsttime is weeks this has worked.
