How do I reset my Denon AVR 5600?

On my lower model Denon which was built the same year here is what you do:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Press the speakers A and B buttons together and hold them.
  3. Plug in the unit.
  4. The display will flash a few times.
  5. Let go of the A and B buttons.
  6. That is called reseting the microprocessor to the factory defalts.

Why do my subs keep shutting off?

Why is there no sound coming out of my Denon TV?

An HDMI cable runs between the two units and is connected to the ARC input. The receiver turns itself on…and then a minute or so later, it turns off. No audio is coming out of the speakers because the TV remains off. I swapped out the Denon for another unit….same problem.
