How does alarm control panel work?

They work by responding to changes in an electrical current, such as when a smoke detector identifies smoke and changes the current in response. Once the fire panel detects this current, it sounds the alarm. The conventional fire panel is installed in different zones—such as the first floor, second floor, etc.

How do house alarm systems work?

Alarm Systems work by sending out signals to a central monitoring station when sensors are faulted. Sensors can be hardwired into a security system, or they can communicate wirelessly through the use of a wireless receiver. When a sensor is activated or faulted, it sends an alert to the alarm control panel.
