That seems way hight for that size of a dozer and I agree it would take quite a while to build a 1/2 acre tank with it. It takes me about 1 1/2 days just to clean out a tank that size on a D6. you can get a pro with a d6 around here with the economy for bout $70 an hour and let him dig it right.
