HDMI 2.0a: The Onkyo TX-NR656 has eight HDMI 2.0a inputs (7 rear/1 front) and dual HDMI 2.0a outputs. The dual HDMI outputs can simultaneously output the same HDMI audio/video signal to two TVs (video is output at the resolution supported by both TVs).

91 % would recommend to a friend. Posted 1 year ago. Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. Using the setup procedure that comes out of the box I am very happy with this unit.
Is the Onkyo TX THX certified for HDR?
Being THX certified is nice feature that was usually reserved for some of the higher end Onkyo Receivers. My only complaints have more to do with what my old receiver had that this newer one does not.

Can a Onkyo 656 be set to full band?
My Onkyo 656 needs to have the volume much higher than my old Onkyo so yes the 656 has to been turned up higher to reach required levels. To check crossover, go to setup, speaker, crossover and there will be frequencies that AccuEq set. I changed them to 80hz, if you have tower speakers, set them at full band.
