Usually, Lorex adapters tend to fail over time, so you can fix the issue by replacing the power supply for the unit. However, if that doesn’t fix the issue, the problem will be the motherboard, and you will have to replace the whole system so it can record again. Other issues that you can find with those Lorex DVRs’ will be a unit not turning on.

Where to find factory settings on Lorex security camera?

Right anywhere on the screen, and go to the main menu. Then, enter your password and click on the hammer and screwdriver icon. Once there, you will choose the option settings. Under Settings on the left side, you will find an option that says default. On default, check the box that says factory default.

How can I change the resolution of my DVR?

Select the input channel your DVR / NVR is connected to. DVR / NVR is set to a resolution that is unsupported by monitor / TV. Change the resolution to 1024×768. This resolution is supported by most monitors. On ECO Series DVRs, press and hold the stop button () on the remote control until the DVR restarts (about 15 seconds).
