Connect the BD player to TV with HDMI. Connect the Optical audio out of the TV to the optical audio input on the DVD HT. You do not need to use the DVD or HDMI output of the HT since you now have a BD player which will make your DVDs look better. Make sure that you select the correct audio output on the TV menu to get surround sound.
