Why does my TEAC TV not turn on?
Checked batteries and connection all fine. The red indicator light is on but won’t “catch” when the on button is pressed. It started doing this a month or two ago but weirdly if I kept trying (on/ off at wall or on back of TV and pressing the on button on remote) it would eventually “catch” and then on – but delayed – 5 or 10 minutes after I tried.
Is the TEAC lcdv2255hd compatible with AWA remote control?
The LCDV2255HD is getting on a bit in age now and appears no longer supported by Teac. There are two possible solutions to your problem. 1. Try an AWA brand remote control. I have found quite a number of Teac TV’s work with AWA remote control units. You may not get the DVD function though. 2. Get hold of a Logitech programmable remote control.
