The AVR-X3300W does include 7.2CH preamp outputs for those wanting to supplement their systems with external amplification to better drive more power hungry speakers or to meet higher output demands. Unfortunately however, you cannot use the preouts to upgrade to a full 5.1.4 Atmos/DTS:X speaker configuration.
