Is the pioneer vsx-1021-k a good computer?
The Good The Pioneer VSX-1021-K’s feature set is one of the best, with built-in AirPlay, five HDMI inputs, and DLNA compatibility. It can be networked via its Ethernet port or an optional Wi-Fi dongle, as well as controlled by Pioneer’s iControlAV2 app for Apple iOS devices. The GUI, while not great, is better than Denon’s.
Why is my pioneer vsx-52 not working?
If you have a Pioneer VSX-52 all it shows for an Error 1 message is to turn the receiver’s power off, then turn it back on and try updating the software again. Have you verified that the software update is for your particular model as sometimes the device looks for a particular file name when updating and if that is not correct it won’t update.
Which is better Denon avr-1912 or vsx-1021-k?
The Denon AVR-1912 edges it out just slightly by also offering AirPlay, plus one more HDMI port, a two-year warranty, more built-in streaming media services, and slightly better sound quality.
What’s the arc channel on a pioneer receiver?
Any help greatly appreciated! ARC is audio RETURN channel. That is for bringing audio FROM the TV back to the receiver. That option will not affect your issue. What you need to look for is an option in the receiver to output HDMI to the amp or passthrough to your TV.
Why does my pioneer VSX receiver stop working?
Hey so I bought a Pioneer VSX receiver about 4 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. The receiver turns on but no sound comes out of the speakers. I plugged in headphones and there was some sound but it wasn’t very loud, even on full volume.
What to do if your pioneer receiver suddenly stops working?
IF nothing has changed then it doesn’t sound too good. If it’s new, I’d say look into getting it serviced under warranty. If it’s not, call around for estimates and compare the cost to fix it with replacing it. I don’t know if this will help, but try unplugging your amp for a few minutes, see if that does anything.

Can you use a Roku as a DVR?
If Roku is working on something like this, they never acknowledge it until release. No you do have another option. A device called the HD HomeRun connects to your cable/TV antenna and your network, and serves as a networked DVR and can stream the recorded video to a networked device.
Can a Yamaha rx-v575 connect to a Roku TV?
My Yamaha RX-V575 supports Dolby D+ on paper too. In practice, when connected to TCL Roku TV 49S405, audio signal drops each time video steam switches to a commercial, for example. I had to switch the receiver input to something else and back to AV4 to reestablish audio.
