Is the scantronic 9600 keypad still working?
Now long retired, I installed a Scantronic 9600 panel in the early nineties. The system is still working perfectly and I am very happy to keep it a little longer. However, the single 9625 keypad has become very worn and I would like to replace it.
Where can I buy NVM chips for scantronic 9600?
Talking of NVM chips, after browsing some earlier solutions on the website I thought I should buy a couple of spares for the IC8 and IC9 on the 9600 panel. They are identical and they are marked B29AB 93C566N but neither RS Components nor Maplins stock them. Can anyone suggest where I can get them please? Many thanks for any help you can give.

Can a scantronic battery be replaced on an alarm?

What should I do if my scantronic 9800 crashes?
the best action would be to call a local company to service the system including a battery change as this will have been totally discharged most 9800 fault codes are simply the initial of the fault quite often a 9800 will crash if powered up with a duff battery in situ and they need the nvm refreshing which is a job for a proffesional instaler
