Is the Sony ht-ct290 subwoofer has no power?
So, I’m now forced into the market for a new soundbar after less than two years ownership of the HT-CT290. I had my eye on the Sony HTXF9000 but it too appears to have this lousy subwoofer unit.

Why is my surround sound not working on my ht-ct290?
Any items placed on top of the Subwoofer may fall. No sound is output from the Subwoofer. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue: NOTE: If no sound is output from the Surround Speaker for HT-RT5, check the following steps that are the same as for the Subwoofer.
