Is there a problem with my pioneer x-smc3 router?
Airplay was OK, I check my gateway and there is a Trusted Computers option in firewall page adding x-smc3 Mac address (find in other page) ! and now internet radio are listed ! Spoke too soon! Problem re-appeared. I’m still convinced it is a wireless network problem. I have tried another router, no good. Disable network and it works fine.
How does airplay work on a pioneer x-smc3?
Then when using your iOS device in its proximity, you get the airplay icon up next to your volume bar, press it and select the device (can even rename the unit to Gaz Bedroom, Gaz Kitchen etc), few seconds later the music is playing out wirelessly all controlled via the iOS device. Negative point to airplay, is you need good wifi for it.

Solved my white screen freezing issue (no thanks to Pioneer Tech Support). The problem ended up being the Automatic Wireless Setting on the unit. After much head scratching and testing I disabled my wireless network. Set the pioneer up with all manual settings for a wireless network then restarted the wireless network.

Used this receiver one day, the next it was dead. There was no power outage or surge. There is no display and not responding to the remote or switch. Checked all the power components and they appear to be okay. Getting power to the unit, but not going through the transformer on the power supply board.

Is the Pioneer Music tap no longer power on?
My Pioneer Music Tap (X-SMC3-G) will no longer power-on. It was working beautifully, then I unplugged it to move it to Home theater questions?
