How old is the Bose Acoustimass sound system?
The regular speakers sound fine but I hardly hear anything coming from the subwoofer. The guy I bought it from said this system was close to 20 years old. I haven’t seen a setup like this before; maybe because its so old. The speaker wires go from the receiver to the subwoofers then out of the subwoofers to the other speakers.

You could always buy a powered subwoofer and add it to the system by connecting it to the receiver. That would significantly improve the quality of the sound that you get from the system.

If you set the cross over point to 100 HTz on the receiver, then this module will cover the 100 to 200 Htz frequencies. If you get rid of it all together, asking an acutual sub to go up to the 200 HTz range is asking it to do too much…
