Can a Pelco Camera connect to a local network?
The local network may not have a DHCP server. The camera IP address is different than the local area network address. To initially configure the IP camera or other Pelco network device, its recommended to connect directly to the device from a desktop or laptop computer with an ethernet patch cable.
