About two weeks ago a black sound bar appeared in the upper left corner and when in laptop mode it is stuck at mute. I can slide it up, but it immediately returns to muted. When I flip my screen over and go into tablet mode, the sound is at 100% and I if I slide the volume, it immediately returns to 100%.

Is there a way to disable Auto standby on TV soundbar?
I would have thought there is a way to disable the STBY but have never thought about it before now. You would need to get a schematic for the soundbar or open it up and see what’s there. davenn likes this. You may want to contact the chap on here.
