When you’re thinking about getting a security system, you don’t want the police knocking down your door if you accidentally trigger the alarm. With 2-call verification, the chances of the police coming out for a false alarm are reduced. Your security system will notify the response center that the system is in alarm.

Why do door alarms go off?

The most likely reason smoke detectors go off unexpectedly is that people aren’t changing the batteries in them often enough. That’s because smoke in the air will reduce the current. If your battery is dying, the current that’s flowing through your sensor also goes down.
