What kind of disc player does Oppo have?
The Oppo UDP-205 Ultra HD Blu-ray disc player, however, is an exception. It provides outstanding value for money in four very different roles: as a CD, SACD, and virtually any other form of stereo music disc player; as a DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra HD (4K) Blu-ray video player; as a surround-music disc player; and as a digital preamp.
Is the Oppo bdp-105d a good CD player?
Can’t speak for the 105D but I own an UDP 205 and I can only assume it’s as good as the 105D. The Oppo’s are very good but for Redbook CD there are a lot of CD only players only that will outperform a stock Oppo.
Is the Oppo Digital player still in production?
Now that the Oppo Digital players are no longer in production, how are you going to play multichannel SACD, DVD-A, multichannel FLAC files, and multichannel DSD files? How are you going to play stereo FLAC files and DSD files without a computer?
