What should I set my Yamaha TSR 700 speakers to?

I set all the speakers at Crossover 80 Hz and the front and center set to small. Connected the TV and Receiver via the Arc cable and firestick in one of the HDMI’s. The image is coming very distorted. Any idea how to remediate the issue?

Then I saw the Yamaha TSR 700 is also on sale in Costco for $330 and going through the forum came to know that the Yamaha sounds better. I want to make the Yamaha work as is future proof and will return the Denon if I could make this work properly.

Otherwise TV (ARC) —> AVR (ARC). Doing the last thing doesn’t hurt, if u end up requiring ARC, well is already there but if you don’t need it, nothing is gonna blow up, everything else will work as designed. So why are so many people unhappy with the TSR-700?

The NVidia Shield is connect and the TSR-700 automatically recognized and even changed the scene name to Shield. So the question is why is it showing ant content as Surround Decode? Regardless if I’m watching Hulu, NAS movie stream etc? Look like my first bug, but it finally downloaded the update.
