Why does my sound come back on after I turn off Netflix?

When using the local apps (netflix, hulu, etc) the sound will drop out intermittently and will not return until I cycle power off/on on the tv. You can try to replace the IC, if you have the right tools and experience, or replace the mainboard, part number 1AA4B10N260A0.
