When does the NAD c375bee protection circuit activating?
Greetings, I recently became the second owner of a NAD C375BEE which worked fine for two weeks and now activates the protection circuit after about five minutes of playing. My speaker connections are fine with no shorting, but I think that if the cables were shorting the protection would activate upon powering up the amplifier.
What does nad stand for in audio category?
I suspect you have the wrong speakers for that integrated amp. It is already damaged. First of all NAD stands for Not Always Dependable. That amp is rated at 150 watts into 4 and 8 ohms. Since the amp does not increase power into four ohms, it means that that amp is marginal into 4 ohms. Your speakers are low sensitivity. (84 db).
Why does my amplifier go into protection mode?
This may be caused by a wire’s insulation breaking down or connecting a head to a cabinet after it has already powered on. In instances like this, the protection circuit will kick in to protect the amplifier’s power supply.
When does a NAD receiver go into full protection?
Most receivers will go into full protection mode when presented with a 2-Ohm load, but NAD’s high-current power supplies, sonically transparent protection circuitry, and heavy duty output stage are easily up to the task.

How many ohms are in Nad full disclosure power?
Since real-world program material requires short bursts of very high power rather than the continuous power normally specified, we also include dynamic power ratings at 8 Ohms, 4 Ohms, and even 2 Ohms!
How much does a NAD 375bee amplifier cost?
There are some very good amplifiers out there, these days, between £500 and £2,000. The NAD 375BEE is not by any means the only game in town but it is a very fine amplifier by any reckoning. We used it with some very smart sources and speakers and it never once nodded.
