Where was my scantronic 9448 reset-control panel located?
Location:Scotland. then the code you were entering must be wrong. for obvious reasons you need the code to do anything. and again for obvious reasons (& site rules) we can’t help you without it. time to get someone round and default the panel back to factory settings and start again by re-programming I’m afraid.
How can I tell if my scantronic alarm is off?
ON = Mains present. OFF = either system is set or if was unset and engineer code entered is in eng mode. The only way to tell if system is defaulted is if the eng code is default and used to be something else then yes it’s defaulted. There are many things that could be wrong, but testing voltages etc is a good start.
How do you reset a scantronic panic button?
What has probably happened is that the alarm has activated via the panic button, the panel has timed out (it is supposed to) then the user has entered her code which has disarmed the system. The code will now need to be entered again to reset the system.
Is there a code omit button on scantronic?
At the same time they can service the system, make sure it’s suitab e for your needs/nature of use of the shop e.g a Jewelers needs better protection than a florists. unfortunately not – I have tried to press enter button and omit button then code but nothing works. I did hear 2 beeps when I was trying to input code after pressing 6 then old code
