Which is the best Rotel amp to buy?

I think it is well known that Rotel makes excellent sounding amps. To out do them your going to spend considerbly more and the improvements are in very small increments. If you want to bring these amps to a higher level you can invest in a better preamp, maybe consider a quality tube preamp.

Is the Rotel RTC 965 a good AMP?

The amp is driving a pair of Magnepan MG12s and is combined with an RC 995. No complaints! I kept the RB 981 and am now running it with a Rotel RTC 965. This is also a great sounding combo. This amp does exactly what I expected. I have switched away from Adcom amps to Rotel a while back. Innocently I started with an RB 981.

What kind of sound does Rotel RB 991 have?

Low-level dynamic articulation. 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms (300 wpc into 4 ohms)of THX Ultra power, very clean. Tight bass, neutral midrange. 1.2kVA toroidal transformer, Black Gate and Wima capacitors, etc. Quality throughout. Dead quiet, no hum at zero volume. Compares favorably with amps in the $3000 to $5000 range.

How much does a Rotel multi channel stereo cost?

You can get into multi-channel for about 1 grand, or 2 channel stereo for approx 600 bucks, for what you are paying you get some nice goods. It is also of my opinion that Rotel will out perform other companies mentioned in this chain, and they are superior to Outlaw (got in a huge fight with a buddy as to what sounded better)

Is the Rotel rb-1552 Mk II a good amplifier?

For most listeners, most of the time, the Rotel RB-1552 Mk II will be an ideal choice, but it’s considered an entry level amplifier for high-end audio, as is the competitive Parasound A-23 Halo (also $999) for comparison.

What’s the price of a Rotel pre amplifier?

In the previous article, we discussed a $999 Rotel pre-amplifier, the RC-1570. Happily, this component was designed to pair with the same company’s RB-1552 Mk II, also $999. (Each can be used with a component from another company, but they look and sound good together—and they’re available in a choice of silver or black.).

What makes Rotel audio such a good brand?

You have to consider the source. Rotel is generally considered to be a quality budget audiophile line. Rotel gear is very good in its price category. Well engineered, solidly built and with very good sound quality, that will tend to be more robust (in a positive way) than delicate and nuanced, but never shrill or edgy.

Are there any Rotel integrated speakers for Vandersteen 1C?

In particular, I’m familiar with two systems that feature Rotel integrated amplifiers feeding Vandersteen 1C and and 2Ce speakers that serve all recorded music extremely well. However, I’ve also heard a less than satisfactory pairing of Rotel separates of the same vintage with a pair of Thiel CS2.2s.
