Why are my Swann security cameras not pairing?
They also don’t work with our repeater, a Netgear Orbi RBR20. Both are set at 2.4Gz. Swann need to supply a list of wireless routers that the cameras will work with. I have found sometimes the cameras do not pair the 1st time. You may have to try it several times. The camera may not work with your wireless router.
How to configure Swann wireless IP network camera?
Open a web browser and access the Camera’s configuration page at: (Please replace the IP address with the real IP address found using the SwannEye Search Tool). To access more advanced features, Mode 1 (using Internet Explorer browser) is recommended. You will need to install an ActiveX player.

When you do the migration option it appears that Swann sends the update over the internet and then there is no paring required. Just log into the new app with your SAFE by Swann password and it all works. Thank you for helping out. It was painful process for the camera to find the WIFI.

Continue with the set up in the Always Safe app, even though Swann Wi-Fi has an ‘!’ next too the Wi-Fi signal * Have tried resetting the cameras and lots of other options eg. Ethernet cable. Why are my Swann floodlight cams not online?
I need the cameras to be online ASAP. Any updates on this, getting silly now. Floodlight cam and outdoor cam both bricked. Like everyone else on here when you unpair and try to re-pair the app keeps informing you that you are not connected to the Swann WiFi when you are. Blue light flashing continuously and cameras stuck in pairing mode.
What kind of router do I need for Swann security camera?
My cameras worked ok with an old TP link router, but do not work at all with the router just supplied by our internet provider, a Huawei HG659.
