Why did my Yamaha rx-v471 receiver die?
Yamaha RX-V471 died on me and sorry to tell you, it wasn’t a power surge. And even if it would have been one, my whole system is plugged in a APC Back UPS 1300W and it is still going on strong. So my AV was working in the best conditions.

Is it safe to throw a Yamaha receiver?

What does it mean when a Yamaha receiver won’t power on?
