Why did the sound on my Mac stopped working?
Unplug any headphones or external speakers. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Sound, then click Output. Make sure “Internal Speakers” is selected, the “Output volume” slider is not all the way to the left, and the Mute checkbox is not selected.
How do I know if my MacBook Pro speakers are blown?
How do I know if my Macbook Pro speakers are blown? One way to determine whether the speakers are blown is to test each speaker separately while playing sound that causes rattling. You can do so by going to System Preferences -> Sound -> Output tab.
What does it mean when your amp blows before you turn it on?
If the fuse blows before you turn on the amp, the problem may be in the electrical circuit. This could mean your car or home wiring is broken or getting too much power. If the fuse blows as soon as you turn the amp on, the amp probably has an internal problem that needs to be fixed.
Why is there no sound coming from my amp?
It is often from loose wires, but it could also be your overall setup. Sometimes replacing the wires, fixing the amp’s components, or changing your setup suddenly makes everything better. If you don’t hear any sound but know your amp is on, the wiring is likely the culprit. Moving the wires may give you a burst of sound.
What to do if your amp wont turn on when you turn it on?
Check the wiring to make sure the amp is plugged in. Go over all the wires, double-checking that they are plugged in correctly. If the amp doesn’t activate at all when you turn it on, the problem could have to do with the power supply.
Why does my car amplifier keep shutting down?
Problem: Amplifier is getting very hot/shutting down. Solution: This is normally a result of the gains/input sensitivity being set too high. In addition, a lower impedance than the amp is rated for can cause this problem (and in the case of a lower impedance, it can cause permanent damage).
Why does my amplifier pop when I Turn Off the head?
Similarly, when the head is switched off the DC offset disappears causing a pop as it takes a finite time for the amplifier to shut down once its remote wire loses power. This could be eliminated if head unit manufacturers would delay the shut down of the internal electronics for a couple of seconds after they shut down the remote output.
When to turn off or turn on an amp?
Helix has designed the unit to turn off the amp (s) when switching between sound sources. This helps with any noise that would be generated when switching between presets. The Helix is a great processor, and I can tell you from personal experience that you’ll need to use the Helix’s turn on output to the amps.
Is there a way to fix an amplifier with no sound?
After spending some times to check the circuit board, I can’t believe that there were actually 15 bad components found which include the burnt resistor. After the replacement with new components the stereo power amplifier with no sound problem was finally fixed. I did not post the video thus you would not hear the sound but the sound worked!
