Once the mains power is restored the battery will recharge and the beeping will eventually stop. The unit is in “hush” mode, these beeps will self-cancel after ten minutes just by doing nothing. The unit is failing because it is over ten years old or faulty. Note: This scenario is also applicable to other Ei150 and the Ei160 series alarms.
