Why does my Lorex keep disconnecting?

Having too many users connected to the network, or general networking issues can cause your LNC camera to disconnect. To reduce the number of users: Close and relaunch the Lorex Ping app or the L-View Client software and check your camera connection.

Why does my DVR keep restarting repeatedly?

If the DVR / NVR is rebooting repeatedly, the issue may be caused by insufficient power or a hard disk drive (HDD) error. Check that the correct power adapter is in use and that the DVR / NVR is receiving sufficient power.

Why is my Lorex offline camera not working?

If the offline camera is still not working when plugged in to the functioning port, there may be a failure in the camera. Contact Technical Support for assistance. Why is my Lorex DVR not connecting to my router?

Check your DVR manual for information on how to find the IP address, web port, or HTTP port. Lorex system is not connected to router. Connect an Ethernet cable from the Lorex system’s LAN or Ethernet port to your router, and turn your system on and off. If you still can’t connect, the Ethernet cable might be damaged.
