Why does my radio turn on but no sound?

Typically when a car stereo produces no sound it’s usually caused by a shorted or grounded wire, defective speakers, faulty head unit/fuses, or setup is not yet complete with your radio unit.

What to do if your Kenwood receiver does not turn on?

Reconnect the front left and right making sure there are no fray strands of wire touching adjacent wires. Then connect only the CD to the CD Inputs, make sure speakers are turned on,Make sure MD/Tape is not selected, and also that Mute is not turned on. Let me know what happens. No sound.

Why is my Kenwood KDC bt362ut not turning on?

Took a shot at your link to Kenwood KDC-BT362UT that it would help. Inserted CD and then removed it and happy to say my stereo works again. Thanks
