Your receiver is probably set to only play L and R channel for 2 channel audio mode. You need to verify your audio settings. Your speakers should be set to ‘small’ with probably 80Hz crossover. This will tell your receiver to send all lower frequencies to sub and it will start working with 2 channel audio.
