Why is HDMI ARC not working Samsung?
If there is a problem with the ARC/eARC operation, first remove all external devices (STB,OTT devices, etc.) connected to the TV, then try playing again. You will need to enable the HDMI-CEC protocols in the Settings Menu on your TV. Samsung TVs call the HDMI-CEC protocol Anynet+.

Can a Samsung q60r work with a hw-q70r soundbar?

Can you check on the tv settings if Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled on the TV as this has to be turned on to get an ARC connection. You’ll find it under General settings, external device manager. You probably need to check the soundbar has anynet+ (hdmi-cec) enabled also.

Why is my sound bar not working on my Samsung TV?
The TV is up and running, and the soundbar can play audio when streaming via Bluetooth. However, getting the audio from the TV via HDMI (ARC) is not working. I have the soundbar source set to “D.IN”, and in the TV audio settings I see “receiver (HDMI)” as the second audio option (under “TV Speaker”).
