Why is my subwoofer turning on and off?
Your car subwoofer can turn on and off, again and again, because of the amplifier going into the protection mode, loose wiring problems, insufficient sources of power, damages in the amplifier, defective wire leads, poor fuse, overheating of the amplifier, and damage to the cone seal.
Why is my amp cutting in and out?
Another possible cause could be a blown speaker. A blown voice coil can short circuit or have much lower impedance. Another possible cause could be improper speaker connection and/or a set of speakers that do not match the amp impedance limit.
How can I Keep my subwoofer on the same channel?
Toggle RF Channel on and off until the SurroundMaster chooses a wifi channel with minimal interference. Then set RF Channel to off and HDMI standby control to off. You have to leave it on all the time but it will stay on the same channel for weeks if you’re lucky.
How do I Stop my surround sound system cutting out?
The cutting out is a form of protection to prevent the amplifier from clipping. You can look through the manual and see if there is a way to defeat that but my guess is there is not. Besides, clipping power amplifiers is a good way to destroy speakers.
Is there a problem with the sub cutting out?
The subwoofer is sitting 2 feet directly before the soundbar with nothing in between and it fades in and out like waves. Like every 2 seconds. In then out then in then out, etc. Sorry, there was a problem.
Is there a problem with the Bluetooth sub cutting out?
If the bluetooth signal cannot reliably get through that, then THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE USING BLUETOOTH. The designers of this product should have allowed for a TOSLINK or RCA hardwire backup option. Major oversight. Sorry, there was a problem.
What to do if your subwoofer cut out?
If it is the auto-on sensor causing this, and you can’t overcome it by increasing the output level on your receiver, you can also just set the subwoofer amp in the on position (if it has one). Takes more electricity, but it’s an option.
Why does my subwoofer cut out when bass is playing?
The only thing that seems out of place is it shutting off when bass is playing, so that’s why I ask if it was bass that was going to the sub. If it is the auto-on sensor causing this, and you can’t overcome it by increasing the output level on your receiver, you can also just set the subwoofer amp in the on position (if it has one).
Why is my Sub cut out on my speaker?
Recheck your wiring and make sure you don’t have any whisker shorts (caused by braided wire coming unravelled at the speaker of receiver end). You have already eliminated the sub as being bad.
What to do when your subs keep shutting off?
You need to turn down the volume on the sub and increase the LFE output from your receiver until the sub stays on. Your problem is inadequate output from your receiver to keep the auto on triggered unless there is a lot of bass. If that does not work just set your sub to auto on off. But then your sub will always be on unless you unplug it.
