Why is woofer not working?

Ensure the subwoofer is connected to the MIX or SUB output on the stereo system or TV. Ensure the power cord of the subwoofer is connected to a working AC outlet. Increase the volume level on the subwoofer. Ensure the speaker settings on the stereo system or TV have been configured properly to use the subwoofer.

How do I connect my subwoofer to my receiver without LFE?

Right: An RCA Y adapter that can be used with a line level converter to connect to a subwoofer with a single RCA input jack. For subwoofers with only 1 or more RCA input jacks (no speaker level inputs), a simple way to connect them to a receiver with no subwoofer output is by using a line level converter.

How do I connect my subwoofer to my AV Receiver?

Using a subwoofer cable (RCA cable), connect the subwoofer to the AV receiver by running the cable from the receiver’s subwoofer output to the subwoofer’s line input. Klipsch subwoofers can be connected via the LFE channel, the white RCA connection, or in a stereo pair by using both the white and red RCA connections.

Can a Denon 2113avr use a subwoofer?

The manual isn’t clear but it might well be the case that direct mode will not use the sub. It does say that regular stereo (i.e. not direct) mode will output to the sub as well though. Failing that I would guess you will need to connect to a TV and bring up the speaker configuration menu unfortunately. I have a Denon 2113AVR which works well.

Why does my Denon avr-790 not play music?

May be it does not work. It may be the vibration of the journey made it work on a temporary basis. Connect a CD player direct to the sub and you should hear sound. If not the sub is dead.

What kind of cable do you need for a Denon subwoofer?

Why does my Denon 2808 not have a subwoofer?

On my slightly older Denon 2808 you do kind of get the menu on the front LCD but it’s almost impossible to use without the manual open, but you may be able to struggle through using the front screen at a push. I think the main speakers are probably set to large and/or the sub is marked as off in the menus.

Can a subwoofer be added to a Denon receiver?

Today I tried to add a subwoofer, but can’t get any output from it. Using the Setup button on the Denon remote, I did the test tones and could clearly hear the sub. But I get no sound from it when watching the Roku tv (whether using the cable box, Blu Ray player, or any other app on the tv).

What should the Denon be set to for Roku?

The Denon should be set to LPF for LFE 120hz, which is the default setting. On the back of the sub set it’s crossover to it’s maximum. The other thing to check is that the Roku TV is actually outputting 5.1 and not just a stereo signal.

Can a Denon 1905 work with a sub?

I have an older Denon 1905 but have a similar problem (test tone works but only a little volume from the sub) which I haven’t resolved but here are a number of items I have tried. Make sure the setup menu is set to Optical Cable On and the type of input you are using (DVD or whatever.
