Why does my Denon receiver keep shutting off?
Other than a physical problem, the two main reasons a unit’s display would shut off on its own would be if the Dimmer button was pressed and the Dimmer Mode is in the OFF position or if Pure Direct was enabled. You can do this by selecting the Dimmer button on the front panel of your unit.
How to setup Denon AVR S750H?
Press and hold the TUNE + and TUNE – buttons on the main unit for at least 3 seconds when the power of the unit is on. What causes a Denon receiver to shut down?
It’s how quick that heat will build up. How much room do you have above the unit, a lot of the heat rises through the vents and if there is no room to shift it then a safety shut down becomes inevitable. Denon receivers run very toasty indeed.

Why is my Denon 4306 AVR overheating?
Denon avr overheating, After finally managing to set up my denon 4306 with a lot of help from you kind people, I’ve reached a major problem. It’s to big for the gap in my unit, it’s got no gap for the air to circulate and has been turning itself off. So my first question is can it be cooled down by putting a fan at the back?

Is the Denon AVR hotter than the Pioneer Elite?
Yes, Denon’s run hotter – – at least in my experience. Noticeably so. I’ve had Pioneer Elite and Yamaha AVR’s and they are considerably cooler. I solved the problem by buying a couple of AC Infinity fans and the Thermostat (USB also with plug adaptor) to keep the unit cool.
